Discuss the history of manual medicine and therapy. Review the neurological basis of manual medicine and therapy.

The Montana Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 0.75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Grievance Policy:
All grievances should be in writing and should specify the nature of the grievance.  Initially, all grievances should be directed to MAOPS Executive Director, who will then forward said grievance to the Education & Convention Committee.  All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt.  If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, then they can then submit a complaint in writing to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the AOA at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.

Dr. Patrick Galvas is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician practicing at Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana. Dr. Galvas received his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Fort Worth, Texas, followed by residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Galvas has served as Great Falls Regional Dean of the Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2012 and is a long-time member of the Montana Osteopathic Medical Association.
