· To appropriately convey to the patient when and why more tests (imaging) is necessary or why more tests are not necessary.

Dr. Jones is the staff radiologist for Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. He received his D.O. degree from ATSU – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a fellowship in Anatomy and Osteopathic Theory and Methods from the same. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Jones is very active in organized medicine and the Missouri Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. He is a past president of that organization and has served in numerous leadership capacities. In 2015, he was recognized by his peers with the Wilber T. Hill, D.O., FACOFP dist. Distinguished Service Award.

After graduation, Dr. Grounds moved to Joplin, Missouri where he currently serves as the Freeman West Emergency Department Medical Director and the Assistant Director of the Emergency Medicine Program with Freeman Health System.
